CMA BASKETBALL ACADEMY
WHAT TO EXPECT
Sessions run once per week at a scheduled time and location
Groups are small -- coaches can actually see what your athlete is doing
Sessions are structured by the coaching staff with specific developmental focuses
One to two coaches per session
Same predictable schedule each week -- no guessing, no last-minute changes
If your athlete misses a session, the session does not roll over. Commitment goes both ways.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Athletes who are already in a development program and want more direct coaching time than a large group setting provides. Athletes who are preparing for a specific tryout or season and want focused work on a specific skill area. Athletes and families who understand that more face time with a qualified coach produces better results than more game repetitions.
WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
Athletes looking for a casual, drop-in training experience. Families who expect makeup sessions or refunds for missed classes. Athletes who have not yet built basic foundational habits -- start in the Academy program first.
Each training session with Coach Moe or Coach Ammi is built to get real results-fast. We don't waste time. Players get straight to work with a focused, high-intensity workout tailored to their level and goals. Session Length: 60 minutes Who It's For: Middle school and high school athletes (Grades 4-12) Training Focus Areas: Skill development (ball handling, shooting, finishing) Game-speed decision-making Footwork and spacing Competitive drills and live reps
Large group training is valuable. Your athlete gets structure, repetition, and competitive habits working alongside peers. But in a group of twelve to eighteen athletes, individual coaching time is limited. That is just the math. Small group training is for athletes who want more of the coach's attention. Sessions run with a smaller number of athletes -- which means more eyes on your athlete's mechanics, more direct feedback, and more time for the kind of correction that actually changes habits. This is not a separate curriculum. It is a quieter room, a smaller group, and coaches who can see your athlete more clearly.
